Tom Barron

I am a landscape, seascape and abstract painter, working professionally in oils on canvas since 1998.

With my landscapes, my aim is to present the subjects in a raw, naturalistic way, with a loose, impasto technique.

My work is made Alla Prima, wet on wet with free brushwork, giving movement and life to the finished works.

In recent years, I have tended to work on large scale paintings, in single pieces and triptych works.

My works sit in both European and International collections and I have exhibited in galleries and shows in London, New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, Singapore and here in Scotland.
